Why We Don’t Accept Insurance

By declining to bill through insurance, Firm Foundation Family Services maintains the highest ethical standards for client privacy and care, focusing entirely on what’s in the best interests of the clients we serve. Insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis to cover the cost of care, which may impact a client’s career opportunities, clearance eligibility, or options for military service. We prefer to protect client confidentiality and prioritize treatment options tailored specifically to you. If you have questions about affordability or need assistance exploring flexible payment options, please reach out—we’re happy to discuss ways to make therapy accessible for you.
