Firm Foundation Family Services is proud to participate in the 8th Annual Mental Health & Wellness Conference, hosted by Loudoun County Public Schools’ Department of Student Services. This annual conference brings together educators, families, students, and mental health professionals to promote mental well-being, education, and connection across Loudoun County.

As part of the conference programming, Carrington will be leading two sessions focused on helping parents and caregivers thoughtfully navigate the growing influence of artificial intelligence on children and families. Her sessions, Preserving Your Child’s Humanity in the Age of AI, will be held at 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM.

Limited seating available — advance registration required.

About the Session

Prepare for the AI future in this engaging and parent-focused session. Carrington will guide attendees through how artificial intelligence is shaping childhood and development, help parents identify their child’s uniquely human needs, and highlight the importance of fostering natural emotional, social, and cognitive growth. Participants will also gain practical insight into how to equip children to responsibly and confidently navigate AI tools—without allowing technology to define them.
