Kids, Teens & Tech: Healthy Habits @ Home and Beyond

Hello Friends,

As parents, caregivers, and members of this community, we’re all navigating how best to support our children in a world shaped by constant connection and digital noise. Many of you have shared questions, concerns, and uncertainty about what healthy technology use looks like for your family—and you’re not alone.

I’m writing to personally invite you to a free community event hosted by Firm Foundation Family Services on February 3 at 7:00pm at Rust Library in Leesburg.

Kids, Teens & Tech: Healthy Habits @ Home and Beyond

In January, Loudoun County Public Schools implemented Policy 8655, often referred to as the “bell-to-bell” device policy. This policy change has raised important questions, and our hope for this evening is to create space for thoughtful conversation about how technology impacts our children emotionally, socially, and academically - and to equip everyone with practical tips for healthy tech habits.

This one-hour gathering is designed to support parents and students together as we consider how to foster healthier habits, stronger relationships, and greater resilience—both at school and at home.
